Let's rebuild the foundation for our Vets by providing Urban-Farm & Home, a community where they can work and live. This initiative represents “The New Healthy Veteran Lifestyle.” According to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, 37,828 veterans are homeless on any given night. We’re not just aiming to end veteran homelessness; we want to create a self-sustainable farming lifestyle that promotes well-being.
What are the attributes of this program? We have the proven formula to offer veterans hydroponics training, employment opportunities, and support in becoming self-sufficient and self-sustainable. Veterans will have the chance to become Entrepreneur Business Owners in the Vet2Farmers development program. Our vision includes building a Vets2Farmers community featuring Tiny Homes and a Hydroponic Greenhouse Urban Farm, among other resources.
The Vets2Farmers program will provide care and training for veterans to become skilled Veteran Farmers during a transitional period, allowing homeless Vets to call this community their home. Qualified veterans will receive free Room & Board during a 2-week certification training program focused on hydroponics farming. Upon certification, they will be offered full-time job placements.
After approximately six months, once veterans establish creditworthiness, we will assist them in purchasing an Urban-Farm-Home using VA and USDA programs. This will empower them to become Entrepreneur Business Farmers within the V2F community.
Our Vets2Farmers business model offers each individual Entrepreneur Farmer the opportunity to generate yearly revenues exceeding $100,000. We are guiding our Vets towards financial independence and a self-sustainable future.
Our goal is to foster a community of Veterans where they can live alongside others with shared experiences. As highlighted by VA studies, this environment is ideal for their stability and happiness due to the sense of camaraderie it provides.

Hydroponics farming allows for year-long growth, enabling 6-10 times more harvests than traditional soil farming, making it a valuable business opportunity. Through hydroponics training, individuals can learn how to achieve 11-15 harvests per year while enjoying better working conditions. This method uses only 5-20% of the water compared to soil farming, making it an eco-friendly option for self-sustainable farming. With the addition of nutrients from a mineral-based formula, organic vegetables produced through this method provide 3-10 times more nutrition than produce purchased at supermarkets, benefiting both consumers and veteran support programs focused on sustainable agriculture.
Assistance is provided from USDA, and we have the support of our affiliate, The Terrace Foundation, which has been farming for many years and specializes in hydroponics training. They handle all of the training for self-sustainable farming practices. With its successful model, The Terrace Foundation has used the proceeds from growing vegetables to provide over 30,000 free meals per year to low-income elderly individuals in the local Santa Barbara neighborhood, while also supporting veteran support programs.
The average American farmer is 58 years old and is nearing retirement. The USDA estimates the nation needs 100,000 new farmers to replace them over the next decade. Hundreds of thousands of American veterans, including those who volunteered for the military after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, are separating from the service every year and seeking meaningful careers in the civilian sector. With about 10-20 veteran suicides occurring every day, it is crucial that we provide veteran support programs, including hydroponics training, to help these individuals rebuild their lives and become self-sustainable through farming.
Americans are increasingly buying local and organic food – the market share grew more than 10 fold in the last decade, despite a major recession. This surge in demand aligns well with emerging trends like hydroponics training and self-sustainable farming, which are becoming essential for modern agricultural practices.
Veterans are 45 percent more likely to start their own businesses than other Americans. With their physical and mental toughness, they are well-equipped to forge successful careers in agriculture. Years of service have honed their leadership abilities, enabling them to work independently or collaboratively in teams. They excel at planning, adapting, and overcoming crises, making them ideal candidates for veteran support programs aimed at fostering entrepreneurial success in the farming sector.
The business model shows individual revenues over $100,000 per year.
Provide jobs for veterans after they complete their hydroponics training to become skilled Hydroponic farmers. Help Vets find affordable Urban-Farm-Home options by leveraging veteran support programs from VA and USDA. Ensure easy market access for the fresh food they produce to meet the growing public demand, while reinvigorating the farm sector with new, skilled growers eager to embark on their next phase of life. The Vets2Farmers Program is a multilayered, hands-on educational initiative that develops new farmers, capitalizes on the increasing demand for sustainably-grown live foods, and promotes self-sustainable farming through entrepreneurship and job creation.

Housing (Tiny Homes - Room & Board) will be provided for transitional Vets2Farmers, who will receive hydroponics training as part of our veteran support programs, followed by opportunities for full-time employment in self-sustainable farming.

We shall assist these Vets to build their credit with a secured job, while also providing hydroponics training to promote self-sustainable farming. Our goal is to help them transition from temporary housing to becoming Urban-Farm-Home owners within 6-12 months through our dedicated veteran support programs.

We shall assist the Vets with finance programs provided by the VA and USDA to support their journey into self-sustainable farming. Through these initiatives, these Vets will receive hydroponics training and become Entrepreneur Farmers, empowered by various veteran support programs.

There are 18.2 million veterans in the US and 1.3 million active-duty soldiers. The average suicide rate of veterans is 22 every day. To combat this crisis, we need to implement veteran support programs that encourage self-sustainable farming practices, such as hydroponics training, helping our veterans embrace a new 'Veteran Lifestyle' and take pride in being American Vets once again.

There will be houses built to accommodate the special needs of some Vets, such as ADA conformity and a convenient living area layout, while also incorporating elements like hydroponics training and self-sustainable farming to support veteran support programs.

We offer hydroponics training and continuing education, along with temporary and permanent housing within the community, while promoting self-sustainable farming to share the workload and responsibility. Experience the camaraderie of living amongst fellow veterans through our veteran support programs!

Hydroponics training emphasizes the use of mineral-rich nutrients to grow vegetables that offer 4-10 times more nutrition than supermarket produce, which often comes from depleted soil farms treated with pesticides and chemical fertilizers. By focusing on self-sustainable farming methods, we can enhance the nutritional value of our crops. Hydroponics' Fresh Fruits & Vegetables (FFV) are essential for maintaining our health, just as nature intended, and they align with veteran support programs aimed at promoting healthy eating habits.
A USDA report indicates that by the year 2030, America will face a shortfall of 100,000 farmers. With many of our inner cities experiencing pockets of food deserts, there is an increasing need for locally-grown fresh foods to ensure the health of Americans. Veteran support programs can play a crucial role in this transition by providing hydroponics training and fostering self-sustainable farming practices.
Vets receive free room and board, along with hydroponics training and job preparation, leading to a permanent job. This sets the stage for Veterans to embark on their journey to becoming entrepreneur Vet Farmers.
